As you will see from my CV, I have extensive experience as an administrator in various roles over the last two decades alongside numerous creative projects. Through networking with a variety of other performers, I have been called on to assist with their social media presence and online video content, examples of which can be found in my Portfolio.

In my long-term temporary assignments at high profile academic institutions such as The Royal College of Art, Kings College London and University College London, I developed a high level of flexibility delivered with a professional approach.

I am familiar with and confident using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube for promotion, having regularly promoted my own and clients’ creative work via social media. For Tom Carradine, I filmed and edited a promo video for each of the songs on his latest album, came up with a schedule to build up to the release date and published content for him using his Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. For Fiona Coffey I produced and filmed YouTube makeup tutorials and scripted and edited several trailers for her touring shows. Alongside advising on simple strategies to build her social media following, I built a simple Squarespace website which I taught her to edit herself. Teri West was unfamiliar and unconfident with social media, so we collaborated on building a ‘content bank’ she was happy with and I posted to her accounts on her behalf following a regular schedule. With each of these campaigns it was important to find the client’s specific ‘voice’, agree on access to their accounts and manage login details safely. We negotiated who was using them when, to avoid any cross-posting but still give the more confident clients space to post news and items of interest on an ad hoc basis.

In my time as a YouTuber, I taught myself Photoshop and Final Cut Pro and have been using both programmes regularly for almost a decade. I have used MailChimp to create mailouts to promote my own music projects and design and troubleshoot templates for clients.

For the last year I have worked in an ongoing regular capacity for Tom Carradine, acting as a moderator for his weekly online Facebook livestream singalongs and promoting the events by posting to his Facebook page, Twitter account and related groups. I also monitor his Facebook page inbox during events to answer queries and forward song requests punctually so he can receive them ‘live’. This requires me to be courteous, informative and polite in online messages and act as a spokesperson for his brand.

In 2015 I was a Wandsworth Arts Fringe ‘Tweeter in Residence’, highlighting selected productions from the festival via short podcast interviews which I produced and shared via social platforms. After this, I was pleased to be asked to return the following year for a series of Twitter ‘takeovers’. I have also had articles published in Time Out London, Time Out Student Guide, Polari Magazine and Beige.
